Privacy & Cookies
Short version: this site uses a single analytics tool (Google Analytics 4) to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they read. That's it. No lists, no sales, no ad targeting.
What gets collected
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics stores a randomly-generated identifier in your browser (usually _ga and _ga_HZX4S6702Z). That lets it count you as one visitor across pages instead of many. Along with that identifier it records:
- The pages you view on this site and roughly when
- Your approximate location (city-level, from your IP address — which is not stored)
- Your device type and browser
- Where you came from (the referring site or search)
If you decline, none of the above happens in a way that identifies your browser. Google still receives anonymous, aggregate pings (that's Google'sConsent Mode) so I can still see traffic trends but not follow any individual around.
What doesn't get collected
- Names, emails, phone numbers, or anything you'd type into a form (that data is captured by the form itself, when you choose to send it, and is covered by whatever the form says)
- Advertising identifiers — this site doesn't run ads or share data with ad networks
- Anything from the password-gated library — that section is excluded from analytics entirely
